Each year, around 1,500 people in Sweden lose their lives to suicide. To honor them and raise awareness, we have set ourselves a collective challenge: together we will move 1,500 kilometers – the distance from the north to the south of Sweden (NOTE: See updated challenge below!).

Move With SSE is about making movement a natural part of life at the Stockholm School of Economics – walking, rolling, or running together. Physical activity is proven to strengthen mental health, reduce stress, and build social connection. By moving side by side, we not only support our own wellbeing but also contribute to building a stronger, more caring community.

We are collecting donations in support of Suicide Zero, an organization working to save lives by reducing suicide through awareness, education, and advocacy. Every contribution helps them reach more people, provide vital information, and prevent unnecessary deaths.

We invite students, staff, and faculty to support us – by joining in, spreading the word, or donating. Together we can make a difference, together we are moving for life.

On day 9 of the challenge we reached our goal of virtually moving from Smygehuk to Treriksröset, and we've set out on a new challenge - to get from Treriksröset to the most southern tip of Europe. Thank you for all support!
